Preparation Guidelines

  • Occlusal reduction: 1.5–2.0 mm (zirconia), 1.5 mm (Emax)
  • Axial reduction: 1.0–1.5 mm with distinct chamfer or shoulder margin
  • Rounded internal line angles to minimize stress risers
  • Supragingival margins preferred when clinically possible
  • Retraction cord or equivalent soft-tissue management before scan
Shade Protocol

Consistent esthetic outcomes

Shade is captured at the start of the visit under neutral lighting with calibrated references. For esthetic cases (veneers, anterior crowns) we require a shade photograph with a Vita 3D-Master or equivalent tab in frame alongside the prep.

  • Standard A1–D4 range supported across all ceramic systems
  • Custom characterization available on request
  • Remake protection when shade protocol is followed
